Join us for a weekend of Music, Comedy, Chili, and Beer. Explore the vibrant community of local vendors and immerse yourself in the unique experience that is Connecticut Chili Brew Festival.
Friday October 11th from 4PM to 10PM / Saturday October 12th 1PM to 10PM / Sunday October 13th 1PM to 8PM
LOCATION: Freight Street
We will have an exclusive VIP area that is only accessible with a VIP Pass. This area is directly across from the main stage and consist of table and chair seating with your own private bar service. You will have full access to the VIP Patio and VIP Tent! Enjoy our event at an elevated comfort with a VIP Pass!
October is about Local Craft Brews, Wineries, Homemade Chili, Live Music, Corn Hole Tournaments, and hunting for cool items at our outdoor Merchandise Market! But wait there's more!!! We are also hosting 2 major competitions for Things to do in the state Of Connecticut in October 2024!
The first big event is the Nutmeg-n-Hops CT Stein Holding Competitions! This contest will have contestants holding a full stein of beer straight out in front of them. Last person holding their stein up will win! Sign ups on the day of the event so get there early! Check band schedule for times.
The second big event is the CT Chili & Brew Fest Cornhole Tournaments happening daily! 4 Tournaments over 3 days! We will also have an area dedicated to free play as well!

CT Corn Hole is where its at and we have 4 Corn Hole Tournaments happening October 11, 12 & 13, 2024! Its happening every day at the CT Chili and Brew Fest on Freight Street in Waterbury, CT!
Social Tournament is paying out 70% of the registration fees into 3 top prizes
Advanced Tournament is a GUARANTEED payout of $1500
1st place is $1000.00 / 2nd place is $300.00 / 3rd place is $200.00
($1500 or 70% of the field - which ever is greater)

What is Stein Holding? Well in Germany the glass you drink beer out of is called a beer stein and they are made of glass and weight about 5 pounds! Imagine holding this out in front of you with a straight arm for as long as you can? Well thats exactly what's happening at this fun event happening on the main stage both Saturday and Sunday at CT Chili and Brew Fest! You can find the main stage schedule here!
October has been associated with Oktoberfest for many years so we will also have a few Oktoberfest beers on tap this weekend! In addition, we have selected some of the most popular CT brews from across the state. We will also have all of your favorite hard Seltzers, Ciders and Domestic beers too!
There will also be a VIP Tent available for a small donation of $20 per person! This upgrade gets you table seating directly across from the MainStage with your own private beertenders! We have limited seating so be sure to grab your VIP tickets early by purchasing them here

One of them is the culinary arts program run by some of the most amazing chefs in CT and they will be the ones making the world famous chili bowls for this music festival, beer festival and chili festival all wrapped up in one giant street festival in Waterbury, CT on October 11th thru the 13th of 2024!
